Stephanie Guerlain, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Systems and Information Engineering at the University of Virginia. Her research is in the area of human-computer interaction, decision support systems, and human factors engineering.

Since joining UVA, she has received grants from the National Science Foundation, the National Patient Safety Foundation, the National Institutes of Health and the Office of Naval Research. Her research is applied to medical, bioinformatics, process control, and military applications.
