The IT program is visited by numerous national
and international guests each year, including scholars
from other programs, speakers in our colloquium and
prospective students.
Be sure to let us know your travel dates as soon as
possible. Typically, a visit schedule is arranged so
that you attend representative classes, view current
initiatives and projects, and meet with faculty and
students.
One of the best ways to learn about the IT program
is to talk directly to current
students or faculty.
We will gladly answer questions by email or phone.
While in Charlottesville, you can tour the homes of
three of the U.S.'s most illustrious presidents: Thomas
Jefferson, James Monroe, and James Madison. Jefferson's
home, Monticello,
has been named one of the 25 "must see" sights
in the U.S. by Travelers Magazine.
